Several Haikus

green vegetables
sweat fluorescence; artichokes
-spined creatures- cry.

-

shimmering lamplight
illuminates sprawling stars,
neon obscures them.

-

Crayon wax drips bold-
melted in the summer heat.
Technicolor pools.

-

Epistles long-lost
brittle envelopes yellowed,
unreadable hand.

-

vegetable zoos,
green earthly prizes in death
arrays- yet living?

[While not fitting the classic definition of a Haiku (nature-inspired) on a surface level, isn't it enough to consider our average human encounter and surrounding "nature", as well?]
